Lemon, Hartog
(c. 1750-1823)
   Dutch physician and protagonist of Jewish rights. Living in Amsterdam, he was a central figure in the Felix Libertate society, which struggled for Jewish rights. He served as a deputy in the second national assembly of the Batavian Commonwealth, and was a delegate to the Napoleonic Sanhedrin in Paris in 1807.
